360 Agreement with Management (100% Publisher's Share)
The 360 Agreement With Management is a contract used by an independent record company to enter into a contractual agreement with an individual, group or band for their exclusive services in the areas of recording, music publishing, merchandise, live performance and personal management. In this contract, the label receives 100% of the publisher's share while the artist/writer receives 100% of the writer's share. The Record Company and Artist agree that the record company, for providing these services, will be paid a percentage of the income from other income sources of the Artist such as publishing, merchandise and live performances. This Agreement also provides for the label to have the rights to also act as the artist's personal manager. There is no additional compensation for this service. A label should consult the laws of its state regarding this type of agreement to understand any risks associated with entering into an agreement for both record label services and management services.
