This Film Score Composer Agreement is used by a film, or television producer to contract with a music composer to create music for a film score and soundtrack for a film or television production whereby the music is synchronized to the action on the screen. The Composer will remain as the owner of the music with the film producer having the exclusive right to record the music and use the music in the film only. Any additional rights to use the music in a soundtrack album would need to be negotiated.
